Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1992 and began his career in finance at CitiGroup where he worked for 8 years. He was recruited into the wealth management industry in the year 2000 where he began his career at Prudential Securities in Orlando, FL. In 2007, he earned the designation of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA) from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is currently affiliated with GCG Wealth Management’s Winter Park, Florida office.
Michael has dedicated his career as a Wealth Manager to taking care of his clients and their financial well-being. He has 19 years of experience successfully navigating the financial markets, including two bear markets. He provides his clients with sophisticated investment strategies and a dedicated partner to assist them in pursuing their specific goals. Michael embraces a long-term planning approach, valuing methodical decision-making and remaining focused on what matters most: his clients.
When he is not serving his clients, Michael loves spending time with his wife, Reba, their teenage daughter, Elizabeth, and their miniature schnauzers, Cocoa and Penny at their home in Maitland, Florida. Reba and Michael are both graduates of Trinity Preparatory School (TPS) in Winter Park, FL (Class of 1992 & 1987) where they met during high school. Reba currently holds the position of Librarian at TPS and their daughter Elizabeth is a recent graduate of TPS class of 2019 and has earned a scholarship to attend Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Michael enjoys collecting music, reading (especially Stephen King), Marvel movies, NFL football, The Simpsons, and technology of all kinds. As a kidney transplant recipient himself, Michael has a heart for helping those in need of a transplant and is active in helping fund raise through “GR8 to Don8” an organization that promotes organ donation and tissue donation.
Michael is a Financial Advisor and Registered Representative with Woodbury Financial Services with Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 31 registrations; and Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Licenses.
