Mary has dedicated her career as a Wealth Manager to earning the trust and respect of her clients. She has been in the financial management industry since 2000 and with GCG Wealth Management since 2018 where she is recognized as a top advisor at the firm. Mary has always embraced a team approach by partnering with her clients, listening carefully, and then taking a long-term disciplined approach to the markets and investment decision making. Ultimately, her method has translated into a strong portfolio of investments, putting her clients first and focusing on their financial well-being now and into the future.

Newhouse-Smith’s focuses on assisting physicians and attorneys in planning for retirement; wealth accumulation and preservation; retirement and legacy planning; risk management; tax-deferred strategies; life and long-term care insurance; advanced annuity strategies; IRA, 401k, SEP, profit-sharing plans; and education savings strategies. Mary prides herself on being an excellent fiduciary for her clients. She also advises her clients on matters of budgeting and general financial education.

Mary holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, & 65 registrations as well as life, long-term care, and annuity licenses. She is a licensed Financial Advisor and Registered Representative with Woodbury Financial Services, Inc. where she has been recognized as an Elite Producer 2018, 2019, & 2020 and was selected as a Fellow in the inaugural Women Forward Fellowship Program Class of 2019- 2020. Mary is a past Court of the Table qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a financial services organization whose membership consists of the top 1% of financial professionals in the world. Newhouse-Smith is also very proud to have been awarded the Dennis E. Howe Advisor of the Year Award in 2019 from her colleagues at GCG Wealth Management, Inc.

As a graduate of the University of Central Florida, Newhouse-Smith earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and her Mini MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Mary is an active member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. When she is not serving her clients, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband Paul and their daughter Charlotte Ann traveling together as a family and going boating.
