Gregg R. Fortune, CFP®, CFS, AEP is the founder and managing member of 3G Financial. His firm focuses on offering comprehensive financial planning solutions for a wide variety of clientele. He has formed strategic alliances with respected CPA firms in the local area to design and manage their client's financial planning needs.

Gregg came from a design engineering background as he was an automotive product designer for companies working with the "Big 3". He pursued an engineering degree at Oakland University but switched to Personal Financial Planning when he followed his passion and made the career switch in 1992. He completed the Oakland University Certificate course in Personal Financial Planning in 1996 which led to his completion of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER credential also in 1996. He studied additionally to achieve the designation of CERTIFIED FUND SPECIALIST in 1998 to show his dedication to education on investment related issues in the financial planning process. Gregg devoted a lot of his practice to working in conjunction with an attorney helping clients with high level estate planning recommendations. This proficiency was applied to his achieving the credential of ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER. Gregg is one of a few individuals in the state of Michigan to hold both the CFP® and the AEP designations.

Gregg is the proud and busy father of five beautiful children. In his leisure time Gregg likes to golf, workout and spend time giving back to his community. He helps educate individuals in need through classes offered at his church as well as the university. The classes are on budgeting, estate planning and divorce recovery which Gregg delivers with the same passion that keeps growing as he continues to work in the financial planning field.
