Investment Advisor Representative

Greg began his career in 1990 when he joined his family’s business, Cooper Investment Co. in Jacksonville, NC. His parents opened the business in 1970 and it currently resides in the same location in which it began over fifty years ago, serving residents of eastern North Carolina.  In 2020, Cooper Investment Co. partnered with GCG Wealth Management, keeping the office location in Jacksonville, NC.  

Greg graduated from East Carolina University where he earned a BSBA degree with a concentration in marketing. He also played football for ECU and served several years as President of the ECU Pirate Club in the Jacksonville area. He has been active in his community, having served as President of the Jacksonville Breakfast Rotary Club, Chairman of the Jacksonville/Onslow Sports Commission and a Board Member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. He is currently the Chairman of the Coastal Carolina Community College Foundation Board in Jacksonville.  

Greg has been married to his wife Angie (formerly from Hickory, NC), for 33 years and they have two daughters, Abby and Sarah. He lives by the coast in Swansboro, NC. He likes traveling, boating and fishing, and following the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team.

Greg is a Investment Advisory Representative and holds Series 7, 63, 51, 24 and 66 Security Licenses, as well as a Life and Health Insurance License. His practice is broad in scope, assisting clients with wealth accumulation, retirement planning, and college education savings.
