Eric Welch

Eric joined GCG Wealth Management and the financial services industry in 2009 to help people.  He has developed his practice with a focus on creating a game plan for each client to work off of with the understanding the plan can and will adapt over time as life happens.

Eric understands the curveballs life can throw at you as he has overcome challenges with cerebral palsy and feels very fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends.  “I realize how close I came to having a very different life and that drives me to help my clients put a plan in place so that they can focus on the truly important things.”

Eric grew up in Salina, Kansas and then spent time in Manhattan, KS (The Little Apple) to obtain his undergraduate business degree from Kansas State University. He spent two and a half years in Nashville, TN indulging in the music scene and earning his MBA from Belmont University. He has focused on customer service and in his first career had 15 years of experience in the broadcasting industry.

Eric lives in Fort Mill, SC and enjoys serving in his church Point of Grace Lutheran in Huntersville.  He plays saxophone in the worship band and enjoys attending concerts with friends.  He is also a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
