After graduating from Michigan State University, Dennis moved to Manhattan Beach, California where he became a Life, Health, Disability, and Annuity agent for what is now Securian Financial Group. Realizing he wanted to raise his family in an atmosphere similar to his native Michigan, he moved to North Carolina in 1990 where he quickly established himself as an industry leader with the Principal Financial Group.

In 1994, Dennis decided to start his own firm by creating GCG Wealth Management, Inc.

Dennis spent the last five years on Securian’s National Advisory Board where he moved through the chairs to be President in 2005. He is a board member of Premier Resource Group, a member of The Charlotte Chamber, Better Business Bureau, Home Builders Association, and Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. Dennis has served on numerous industry boards over his last twenty years in the industry.

Dennis has his CLTC designation and is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Representative with Securian Financial Services. He personally holds his Series 6, 63, 7, 24, and 26 registrations, along with a Life and Health and Long Term Care licenses.
